Birra Moretti is a quality beer made in the traditional way. It is the result of a production process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. The best raw materials are used to make Birra Moretti, as well as a special blend of high quality hops that gives it a unique taste and fragrance, enhancing its perfectly balanced bitter taste. It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends.

You can also enjoy ‘Old Speckled Hen’ in 500ml or 355ml bottles and 500ml cans at 5% ABV from all leading supermarkets and convenience outlets. And for the jet setters amongst us, you can even find it in 47 countries around the world, from Australia to the UAE. ‘Old Speckled Hen’ has a full, smooth flavour and is very easy to drink. Its rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty tastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness. This, all followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

Kriek Boon

For this speciality, we use old and young lambic beer that has aged in our oak casks. When the lambic is 6 months old, we add 25% black cherries. This provokes the second fermentation. We then clarify, filter and bottle it. The cherries and young lambic create a red beer that is both natural and fresh, with an absolutely unforgettable sweet and sour taste. This is kriek as it should be, with nothing but real cherries and lambic. There is no place for artificial colourings or flavourings.

Spitfire is one of the UK’s best-loved beers with an international reputation as a Great British Classic. Since its inception as a one-off brew back in 1990, Spitfire has enjoyed phenomenal success, earning a Royal Warrant and protected status as a Kentish Ale. A true classic, Spitfire Amber (draught: 4.2% ABV; bottle/can/mini keg: 4.5% ABV) is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, played out in the skies above Kentish soil. It is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery. Spitfire Amber combines the pick of Kentish hops (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings, First Gold) to layer bitter orange marmalade flavour on top of sweet biscuits and caramel malts for a peppery dry finish.
