Chimay Cinq Cents (White)
- Belgian Tripel
- 8.0%
- Bières de Chimay, Belgium
Named Cinq Cents in 75 cl (25.4 fl.oz.) bottles, this beer, with its typical golden color, slightly hazy appearance and fine head, is especially characterized by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. It was first brewed by the monks of Chimay at Scourmont Abbey in 1966. Above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma.

A classic Kellerbier is an unfiltered, bottom-fermented lager beer. Our version takes this idea and runs with it. Our version tries to be the best damn Kellerbier in the world. Using pilsner malt beside Perle and Mittelfruh hops from the Hallertau region of Germany and Czech Saaz, we produce a higher than usual ABV, golden-coloured lager with a strong malty, bready backbone. The big floral, herbal hop aroma is followed by refreshingly bold bitterness and elegantly rounded malt flavours. Many brewers believe that certain beers are at their best when drunk straight from maturation tank before filtration. We want to give everyone the chance to taste it this way and see if we are right. A pure culture Bavarian yeast strain gives the beer a slight haze in the glass and the very essence of freshness that make this beer stand out from the crowd. FOOD PAIRINGS: Seafood, herring, salmon etc., thai food.

- Ayinger Privatbrauerei, Germany
This nostalgic beer specialty, which can be confidently ranked among the traditional old Bavarian beers, is brewed in commemoration of the good old times and in honor of the brewery’s founder, Johann Liebhard. The special feature of the “Kellerbier” is the fine yeasty cloudiness and the pleasantly bitter taste. As it is bottled unfiltered, many of the natural protein, yeast and hop elements remain contained in the beer. It consequently retains its original character and the beer connoisseur can appreciate the fullness of taste that this very drinkable beer offers. Furthermore, the vitamin and mineral-rich yeast also provides a significant contribution to the nutritional requirements of good health.

Tropic Thunder Sour Fruit Ale Tropic Trio A sour fruit ale with mango, passion fruit, and peach. Sunshine in a can. Sweet! Born out of a conversation at a beer festival in Rimini, Italy, the idea behind this beer is as simple as it is complex: We wanted to make a beer that tastes like a popsicle. A beer as refreshing as those ice-cold, fruity treats we loved as kids. We brewed this beer, trying to create something we’d never done before. And you know what? We succeeded! Fusing what has become our house lactobacillus culture with all that fruit and then letting it ferment in a for us whole new way. It was an experiment, to say the least. Now, Tropic Thunder is a modern classic. A joint beery effort together with nomadic brewer Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal. And forever in our hearts. Fruity!

Often pilsner, sometimes IPA but Always Porter. For us, by us. WHAT DOES IT EVEN MEAN ? The development of porter is often attributed to a need for a strong, flavorful, and affordable beer that could cater to the working-class population of London. The term “porter” is said to have originated from the beer’s popularity among London’s porters and other laborers who worked in the bustling markets and docks. Its affordability made it accessible to a broader segment of the population, particularly that working class. These workers sought a hearty and sustaining beverage that could provide them with energy, refreshment and a little relaxation after a day of labor. Just like us. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW THOUGH Rich and diverse grain bill for depth and complexity starting with a base of Golden Promise and Vienna, additions of chocolate malt, torrified wheat, Heidelberg wheat, Special W, Premium English Caramalt, and roasted barley. All English hops; bittered with Goldings, Fuggles and Bramling Cross in the whirlpool. Dark and flavorful, stout and robust, with a rich malt backbone. High in drinkability, smooth creamy texture, slight alcohol warmth, dry with a lingering roasty finish, notes of chocolate, coffee and toffee, and a mild earthy and floral hop aroma.

Pale Single Hop Hazy Pale Ale Howling at the Moon This is Pale: A smooth floral and citrus single hop pale ale. Session! Indeed, you sometimes want to keep it simple. And yes, simple is one way to describe this beer. Yet, it’s not simple. Not at all. This beer is refined, complex, sophisticated, multi-faceted, polished, and well-crafted. In all, it’s simplicity. And sometimes, that’s all, everything, and the only thing you want. We’ve done all the work so you can have all the fun. The intertwined combination of a malt base that is thought about, brewed, re-brewed, and refined again and again. With a yeast selection made by seeing and tasting the results of so many yeast varieties. And, a hop combination that, after, in various brews, almost trying them all, is not a combination but a single hop to rule them all. So, to repeat our preamble, This is Pale: A smooth floral and citrus single-hop pale ale. A drink of complex simplicity for all your session needs

Spitfire is one of the UK’s best-loved beers with an international reputation as a Great British Classic. Since its inception as a one-off brew back in 1990, Spitfire has enjoyed phenomenal success, earning a Royal Warrant and protected status as a Kentish Ale. A true classic, Spitfire Amber (draught: 4.2% ABV; bottle/can/mini keg: 4.5% ABV) is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, played out in the skies above Kentish soil. It is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery. Spitfire Amber combines the pick of Kentish hops (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings, First Gold) to layer bitter orange marmalade flavour on top of sweet biscuits and caramel malts for a peppery dry finish. While the great taste has remained constant throughout its history, the Spitfire family has grown to include golden ale and lager, each imbued with the distinctive Spitfire spirit. Today Spitfire has a dynamic new look reflecting the nature of the iconic plane that inspired its creation and befitting its status as an ale of substance and character.
