  • Shapes & Objects Beer Co, Sweden

One of the objectives of Shapes & Objects is to give space to new ways of approaching different brewing techniques. Which is why it was extremely fun when our friend Daniel of Crooked Moon Brewing brought along Baltic Brewing Supplies to brew an IPA questioning each step of our old ways of brewing IPA. After endless discussion about hops, malts, ratios and life in general we decided on a theory where the hops and selection of yeasts would complement each other beautifully. Our friends at Lallemand supplied us with fruity Pomona yeast while BartHaas provided us with Tango, Callista, Citra Lupomax and two different HBC hop varieties. Notes of ripe tropical fruites, creamy melon and candy like sweetness.

Demon Juice is a beer born out of friendship across borders. Back in 2016 Jacqueline Weycker, out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was an exchange student in Copenhagen, living with a host family at Amager. Jacqueline – or Jackie – came from a brewing background as back in 1996, her dad, Brent had founded one of the earliest craft breweries back home in Green Bay: Titletown Brewing Co, located in an old train depot registered in the National Register of Historic Places. Knowing her interest in beer and brewing, her Danish host family took her to Amager Bryghus where she immediately became a friend and volunteer pouring beer at a couple of Amager events with the skill and professionalism that only an upbringing in the beer world can give you! In the spring of 2019 Jackie messaged us, telling that she was gonna be back in Europe, this time bringing her whole family on a holiday. We quickly arranged a stop-over in Denmark, this time to make an official collaboration beer between Titletown and Ama

An Imperial Baltic Porter as dark as the Estonian winter nights. Strong enough to keep you warm through the cold evenings. Taste: A rich body comes through at first. Initially the espresso-like acidity is balanced by a sweet taste of caramelised toffee. As your glass warms up you should expect to taste redcurrant, mixed with a dark chocolate, washed down with a slight alcoholic warmth. Appearance: Pitch black - as dark as the night sky, with an opaque brown head. Nose: A clean burnt sugar dominates, immediately giving way to rich dark fruits - plums, raisin, and fresh cranberries. Eventually, a roasted smokiness emerges, like a distant bonfire on the horizon. Malts: Pale ale, Munich, Carafa II Special, Special B, Chocolate malt, Crystal 300, Demerara sugar Hops: Magnum, Northern brewer Translation: Night

Spitfire is one of the UK’s best-loved beers with an international reputation as a Great British Classic. Since its inception as a one-off brew back in 1990, Spitfire has enjoyed phenomenal success, earning a Royal Warrant and protected status as a Kentish Ale. A true classic, Spitfire Amber (draught: 4.2% ABV; bottle/can/mini keg: 4.5% ABV) is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, played out in the skies above Kentish soil. It is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery. Spitfire Amber combines the pick of Kentish hops (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings, First Gold) to layer bitter orange marmalade flavour on top of sweet biscuits and caramel malts for a peppery dry finish. While the great taste has remained constant throughout its history, the Spitfire family has grown to include golden ale and lager, each imbued with the distinctive Spitfire spirit. Today Spitfire has a dynamic new look reflecting the nature of the iconic plane that inspired its creation and befitting its status as an ale of substance and character.

Staropramen Granat is a unique lager which proudly embodies our brewing traditions. This beer is made based on the original recipe from 1884. The special sprinkling process, mixing pale and specialty malts is what gives the beer its unique granat (ruby red) color.
