The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry. Color and Sight: Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkle creates a nice, stable foam head. Scent: Slightly malty, heavy touch of alcohol, spicy. Taste: A good shot of alcohol ignites in the mouth, as it were, which really warms the tongue and palate. The taste is also characterized by its roundness. The finish is strong, long and dry bitter.

Mango Mango Mango Sour Fruit Ale Tropic Trio A sour fruit ale with one, two, three layers of taste and aroma from fruit and hops. Mango! If you put fruit in a beer, there’s no better fruit to use than mango. At least that’s what Magnus here at Dugges Bryggeri says. And, he should know. He’s the originator of many of the fruit beers we’ve done. With that, we set out to do a mango solo! To make it a sour was a no-brainer. We have nothing but love for our sour beers, and we want to continue exploring those forever. As for the mango, we wanted to push as much fruitiness as possible into this beer. So, we used mango flavor from two types of mango fruit and from Mosaic™ hops. Giving it that multi-layered, multi-faceted, and multi-multi kind of vibe. Since that first brew, Mango Mango Mango has been around for a few years and is now one of our staples. We never tire of it. That mango freshness spread on a crisp sour is just right. Here’s to many more. Mango!

Tropic Shake Mango, Passion Fruit, Peach & Vanilla Sour All shook up, uhu-hu Shake, shook, shaken. Bake, done bakin’. Our tropic is cakin’. Fruitynilla makin’. Smooth sour, extra power, punch. Yeah! primo dici viderentur considerata. Word! One of the definitions of 'to shake something up' is "To do something different from one's regular routine to make things feel new or exciting." A typical practice here at Dugges is to brew everyone's favorite peach, mango, and passionfruit sour Tropic Thunder. So, how could we make that thing new, exciting, or both? We answered that question by upping the ABV a touch, adding even more fruit, and doing the Salt Bae sprinkle with a lot of vanilla. (So, the sprinkling took quite some time. Still worth it.) The result? Well, it's new. And it's interesting. And it's also insanely good. All that fruity sourness rounded off with sweet vanilla makes for a smooth drink. We might just have to shake things up again soon. Mango Shake, anyone? Jiggle!

This is our second West Coast IPA with Pellicle publication, and was brewed in honour of their 5th birthday! We thought there was no better way of celebrating than brewing up a resinous, sticky but Modern West Coast IPA - which just happens to be Editor in Chief, Matt’s favourite style. Optimism forever is stacked with herbal bitterness, alongside big tropical fruit flavours such as fresh Mango and tart Guava thanks to the Strata CGX and Idaho 7 hops, which lends a mouth-wateringly juicy quality to this West Coast IPA. Alongside these tropical notes, a generous dose of Citra YCH 702 evokes bright citrus fruits such as Pink Grapefruit and pithy Lemon, which intermingle beautifully together. The finish showcases Nelson Sauvin beautifully, bringing together the whole beer nicely with a White Grape finish, full of winey esters and dry Gooseberry.

The Chimay Blue Cap, baptized "Grande Reserve" in 750 ml bottles is a dark Trappist beer with a powerful aroma, the complex flavor of which improves across the years. It was first brewed as a Christmas beer by the monks of Scourmont Abbey in 1956. This authentic Belgian beer, whose tinge of fresh yeast is associated with a light rosy flowery touch, is particularly pleasant. Its aroma, perceived as one enjoys it, only accents the delightful sensations revealed by the odor, all revealing a light but agreeable caramelized note. It is ideally served at cellar temperature (10 to 12°C).

Spitfire is one of the UK’s best-loved beers with an international reputation as a Great British Classic. A true classic, Spitfire Amber (draught: 4.2% ABV; bottle/can/mini keg: 4.5% ABV) is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, played out in the skies above Kentish soil. It is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery. Spitfire Amber combines the pick of Kentish hops (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings, First Gold) to layer bitter orange marmalade flavour on top of sweet biscuits and caramel malts for a peppery dry finish.
